Taking care of loved ones with dementia is one of the most difficult tasks any of us may face. Numerous studies have shown that the strenuous labors of caregiving have an adverse effect on mental and physical health of caregivers, especially as dementia diagnoses worsen. Thankfully, researchers, former caregivers, and healthcare professionals from around the world are dedicated to providing comfort and aid not just to those with dementia, but also to the caregivers themselves.
